Dr. Jeffrey Bensimon
Dentist
Dr. Jeffrey Bensimon graduated from University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1985. He has more than 39 years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and Royal College of Dental Surgeons.
Debbie
Office Manager
Debbie was born in South Africa and immigrated to Canada in 1996. She graduated from Pretoria Technikon in 1993 having studied office administration. She joined Dr Bensimon Family Dental in 2007. Debbie has experience in office administration and bookkeeping.
Diana
Dental Assistant
Diana is a dedicated dental assistant who truly enjoys caring for patients and supporting the dental team. She graduated from CDI College in 2006, earning her Level 1 Dental Assisting certification, and has been working in the field ever since. In 2010, she further advanced her education by completing her Level 2 Dental Assisting training at Everest College, strengthening her clinical skills and knowledge. With many years of hands-on experience, Diana takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. She is known for her gentle approach and friendly attitude. Diana finds fulfillment in building trust with patients, easing dental anxiety, and contributing to positive, healthy smiles every day. Outside of the dental office, Diana enjoys cooking, sewing, and creative hobbies. She also has an artistic background, having completed an applied photography course at Sheridan in 1987.
Florence
Hygienist
Florence graduated with honors from APLUS Institute – Toronto Dental Hygiene School in 2016 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association since 2014 and the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario since 2016. Florence has been working for Dr. Bensimon since January 2024. Before pursuing dental hygiene, Florence studied fine arts and computer animation. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys creating artistic projects, playing video games, traveling, and spending time with her husband.
Gillian
Hygienist
Gillian grew up in Beamsville, Ontario and has joined the practice as a registered dental hygienist. She earned her advanced diploma in dental hygiene with Honours from Niagara College, and completed her Bachelor's degree at Brock University in 2018. Gillian has played for both the women's OYSL provincial soccer team and the Niagara College soccer team. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, skiing, playing soccer, and curling.
Heather
Hygienist
Heather graduated from Niagara College with a level II Dental Assisting certificate with honours in 2006. She then graduated from Algonquin College as a Registered Dental Hygienist with honours in 2010. She has been a member of the CDHA (Canadian Dental Hygienist Association) since 2008. Heather has been working for Dr Bensimon since 2014. In her spare time time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Praewwadee
Dental Assistant
Hello, I'm Praewwadee. As a level II dental assistant and Anderson College graduate, I strive to provide patients with a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I truly believe that maintaining a healthy smile can have a big impact. Outside of work, I love spending time with my cats, gardening, and going on camping adventures in the summer.
Yasmin
Receptionist
Yasmin was born in Jamaica and immigrated to Canada in 2007. She earned a Dental Assisting Level II diploma from Everest College in 2010. Yasmin began her career in dental assisting before discovering her enthusiasm for Dental Administration. She takes great satisfaction in assisting patients with scheduling appointments, navigating insurance coverage, and managing various other administrative tasks within the dental office.
In her free time, Yasmin enjoys taking road trips to different cities across Ontario, walking in the park, and spending time with her daughters.
